Please re-read the article. There are test site, test steps, test scripts and timings. You may say, "PW is slower in this particular benchmark setup", which I accept. Your statement "PW is a lot faster", in fact, is "very biased" (using your own words). That's exactly how "Cypress claimed much faster", without showing a single benchmark comparision. So, please write an article with your "statistically valid benchmarks", I will read it.

Also you missed a bit point in this article. Both Selenium and PW execution speed reached to level, which the minor difference do not matter.

As for Playwright (also PhantomJS, Protractor, TestCafe, Puppeteer, and Cypress), every JS tester I met (many over 12 years on mnay projects) was a fake. I don't know you, here I simply state the genelization from my own experience. There are readers showing disagreements, still up today, no single "JS tester" could provide me with a daily test history report with 50+ tests.
