Thanks for your feedback. As I wrote in the article, I never used Katalon. My opinion is based on my experience in reviewing testing tools, and 16 years in hands-on test automation, particularly in maintenance, and CT as well.

I believe there is a script view in Katalon, these tools often do, which you confirmed. However, this becomes a 2-face thing, which, in my opinion, will be even hard to maintain, in a team.

Also, without scripting in programming languages, there is no fun in functional testing.
